Rove and War Crimes: Criminal Conspiracy to Create an Illegal war in Iraq Karl Rove was a member of the White House Iraq Group, a special committee formed in August, 2002 by then-White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card. The group was led by Condaleeza Rice and included Karen Hughes, Mary Matalin, Vice President Cheney’s Chief of Staff Lewis Scooter Libby and others. One month after the formation of WHIG, in September, 2002, the group launched the campaign to sell the war to the American people and Congress on the Sunday morning talk-show circuit. Vice President Dick Cheney appeared on NBC, Secretary of State Colin Powell appeared on Fox, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld appeared on CBS and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice appeared on CNN.1 Pre-war Build-up Knowledge – 6 Month’s Prior According to a Newsweek article published in October, 2006, Karl Rove attended an NCAA basketball game with Jack Abramoff in March, 2002. Afterwards, Abramoff was e-mailed by an old friend of his who was a militant Israeli settler. Abramoff responded to his friend in an email saying: "I was sitting with Karl Rove, Bush's top advisor, at the NCAA basketball game, discussing Israel when [your] email came in. I showed it to him. It seems that the President was very sad to have to come out negatively regarding Israel but that they needed to mollify the Arabs for the upcoming war on Iraq. That did not seem to work anyway. Bush seems to love Sharon and Israel, and thinks Arabfat [sic] is nothing but a liar. I thought I'd pass that on." 2 Sources 1.Wikipedia More Information:
