March to the U.S. Department of Justice
March departs from rally site at high noon. Some participants may engage in nonviolent civil resistance, risking arrest, if the attorney general does not agree to appoint a special prosecutor for torture. The march and nonviolent resistance are sponsored by: After Downing Street, CODE PINK: Women for Peace, Democrats.com, Indict Bush Now, National Campaign for Nonviolent Resistance, Progressive Democrats of America, Torture Abolition and Survivors Support Coalition, Veterans for Peace, War Criminals Watch, Washington Peace Center, Witness Against Torture and World Can't Wait.
