DescriptionU.S. CENTCOM Commander and Army General David H. Petraeus will speak on campus at 2:30pm. As Commanding General of the Multi-National Force - Iraq, Petraeus was the architect and leader of the June 2007 "surge" in Iraq. In October 2008, he was appointed to head of command of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) which oversees the operations in the Middle East and Central Asia, including the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. He testified in Congress against the release of the torture photos. Demand the prosecution of this war criminal. The demonstration starts at 1:30 in front of the Center off of North Ave. The event is full. However; there may be more tickets released as people who have reserved seats don’t show up. They will let people in with tickets from 2:00 to 2:15. After that they will release tickets to those waiting in line, and by 2:25 any empty seats will be filled. Georgia Tech students are the only ones who will be able to ask questions. Bring your signs, pictures of those tortured and killed by the wars. Venue
