While many her celebrate the holidays with their loved ones, the U.S. government is destroying the lives of countless people -- in Iraq, in Aghanistan, in Pakistan.  In the prisons and torture chambers at Guantanamo and Bagram.  Obama firmly claims this war by escalating it -- and the outraged world watches him receive the Nobel "War Is Peace" Prize.
 
Join World Can't Wait as we demonstrate the continued reality of U.S. torture.  Help us to call on more people to contribute to a movement determined to put an end to war, torture, and the whole fascist direction that this country has been taking for almost a decade.

Join us at Union Square. Torture victims represented in orange jumpsuits and black hoods -- signs, conversation.  This will not be a protest, but a chance to talk to shoppers, tourists, young people and others (including many people who live outside the Bay Area), and to involve them in the uncompromising resistance movement the world so badly needs.
