Hear oral argument in Turkmen vs Ashcroft--the Center for Constitutional Rights will argue before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. CCR's class action civil rights lawsuit was filed on behalf of Muslim, South Asian, and Arab non-citizens swept up by the FBI and INS as suspected terrorists after 9/11. CCR will press the importance of holding former Bush administration officials, including John Ashcroft, accountable for their role in ordering religious profiling and abuse.
