Dick Cheney knows how to travel safely: The former vice president under President George W. Bush will appear at Miami Book Fair International — with his cardiologist.
Cheney, 72, will be in conversation with his co-author and long-time physician Jonathan Reiner to discuss their book, Heart: An American Medical Odyssey (Scribner, $28). In it Cheney recounts his 35-year battle with heart disease (he received a transplant in 2012).
The discussion takes place at 9 a.m. Nov. 23 in the Auditorium at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson campus, 300 NE Second Ave. in downtown Miami.
