The Washington Post reported Saturday that approximately fourteen thousand photos relating to the facilities used to secretly kidnap and hold prisoners during the global War on Terror. "Military prosecutors this year learned about a massive cache of CIA photographs of its former overseas “black sites” while reviewing material collected for the Senate investigation of the agency’s interrogation program, U.S. officials said." This find is certain to delay the miltary tribunals in Guantanamo, now going into half a decade. The government will fight the disclosure — as both the Bush regime and the Obama administration have done every time a prisoner or the public — or even military lawyers — seeks to expose torture and extraordinary rendition.
