Many of you already know that the 75-year-old white man who was assaulted by Buffalo police in full riot gear on Friday June 5th is long-time WAT member Martin Gugino. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital and is apparently in serious but stable condition, but at this time we know very little beyond that.  Two police officers have been charged with assault. Martin's attorney asks that people "respect his privacy during his recovery" but you can send cards to him at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Room 2206, 1540 Maple Rd, Buffalo, NY 14221.
