Starting this week, World Can't Wait and many other groups begin a month of impressively diverse actions aimed at stopping U.S. drone war and surveillance. We hope all supporters will find a way during this month to join in with planned actions. Set up your own, or find one of the many ways of making visible your opposition to:

• Drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Somalia and unknown other countries by the US military and CIA drone programs, which so far have killed 2,772-3,933 including 170-199 known children. • President Obama's doctrine of targeted killing, often by drones, consisting of so-called "signature strikes" which have killed at least three U.S. citizens in Yemen and clearly violates international law, rendering national borders irrelevant.
• Increased use of unmanned aerial vehicles by domestic police authorities, violating (at a minimum) the Fourth Amendment protection against unreasonable search.

There are already more than 60 events posted across the country in cities small and large. Find/organize an event.

Anti-drones activists will be tweeting throughout the month, using the hashtags #aprildays and #nodrones. Every TUESDAY there will be an intensive focus on promoting the April actions in cities across the country. Please follow and retweet these accounts as part of the weekly #nodrones campaign.
