From War Criminals Watch

Yesterday, Sept. 29th, a few of us were at the Times Square Marriott demonstrating against John Ashcroft who was speaking at the Assemblies of God Trust Summit.  For a little while, we spread posters out on the street in exhibit. People stopped and looked. Then, the police told us to pick the posters up or we'd be charged with disorderly conduct. Though no one was being disorderly, the cop said that they blocked people walking around. So we stayed there holding them aloft.

What we noticed was that people from countries in the Middle East, Germany, Brazil and from as near as Canada came up to us to thank us for being there -  a few thumbs up, a rose - for speaking out against the people who brought the world  the "war of terror."
