President Trump is reportedly considering an idea to create a global spy network that would work independently from US intelligence agencies in an effort to combat the “deep state.”

The private intelligence network is being proposed by Blackwater founder Erik Prince and could be used to justify Trump administration policies that are not supported by facts provided by the CIA, The Intercept reported Monday night.

A CIA spokesperson called the report “wildly inaccurate.”
