Note:  John Yoo was supposed to have been on a panel slated to discuss the role of government
lawyers in the war on terror.  According to the Blog of Legal Times, Yoo
has withdrawn from this scheduled appearance.  "'There was a scheduling conflict,' said Federalist Society President Eugene Meyer of Yoo's withdrawal. 'He is going to be talking to the Federalist Society later towards the end of January.'"

The theme for this year's Federalist Society's National Lawyers Convention  is "The Federal Government's Economic Role in our Constitutional System." The Annual Dinner will take place the evening of Thursday, November 12 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.
